So.....if there's anyone out there that is still checking this blog, I must apologize profusely!! Never before have a let the blog go for such a long time without updating it. I would like to offer up three reasons for my absence:
1. iPhoto Crashed. At the end of July, I went to iPhoto to work on uploading some photos, and to my dismay, none of my pictures were there. All of the folders I had carefully organized over the last three years were gone, and no matter what I tried, I couldn't get them back. Luckily, I was able to locate all of the original picture files within my hard drive, but the task of reimporting them into iPhoto and sorting them into folders was overwhelming. Needless to say, I was left with a bad taste in my mouth and was in no mood to upload photos.
2. School Started. On August 13th, I had to report back to school for a week of inservice before the students returned on the 22nd. So not only did I not feel like taking photos, but I also had much less time to do so. Luke returned to daycare full time, so my only photo opportunities were in the evenings after work.
and finally.....
3. Big Brother Luke! Probably the most influential reason for my absence is that I'm pregnant! On July 9th, Drew and I found out that we're expecting baby number 2! And I have to say, that first trimester was much worse than when I was pregnant with Luke. I experienced frequent nausea and morning sickness, and just didn't feel like doing much. Thankfully, I'm about a week into my second trimester, and feeling much better!
So.......enough of me talking - let's see some photos!
(I have to warn you, my blogging wasn't the only thing that suffered - I have very few photos from the past few months, but I'll post what I have :)
