Slide!

Over the past few weeks, Luke has really gotten into climbing - on everything! So we decided to channel this new found skill by purchasing a small slide. So far, so good! 

Oh, and Luke's other favorite thing right now is his markers. While he does enjoy the occasional coloring, he mostly likes to arrange and rearrange his markers in the mug. He likes to flip them one by one, then flip them back. Crazy kid!

Weekend at the Cabin!

This year we took our yearly trip to Burnt Cabins, PA, to spend the weekend relaxing with friends. We arrived Friday evening, and played for a little bit before going to bed. On Saturday morning after breakfast, we all piled into the den to watch a Baby Einstein DVD that Katie brought. It was a hit!

 After our movie time, we took a walk around the property. It was a bit chilly, but we had a nice time!

Before naps, we spent most of afternoon playing in the living room. 

Katie made delicious baked ziti for dinner - yum!

We realized that there was no bathtub at the cabin, so Luke took a shower instead. He had a great time!

We played a little bit more before going to bed.

This morning we got up, had breakfast, and played. Luke and I also took some time to stroll around outside - it was a beautfiul day! We got packed up, ate a bit of lunch, then headed home at noon. What a fun weekend!
