We arrived in the Outer Banks on Sunday afternoon, but I didn't really take any pictures until Monday morning. The kids had fun checking out the view from the balcony and chowing down.
We headed outside to check out the pool, and Luke loved it! Last year he was only 3 months old on vacation, so he didn't get to experience much of anything. This year he was in the middle of all the action!
We bought this kiddie float for him, which was probably one of our best purchases ever! Luke could float around on his own and enjoy watching what was going on. Plus it had a nice shade to keep him out of the sun.
We also brought along our kiddie pool, which cousins Jake and Asher enjoyed playing in.
Another great purchase: adult sized floaties!
We spent most of Monday hanging out at home, and went out for ice cream in the evening. Late Monday night, Uncle Kevin and Uncle Steve arrived - vacation had officially begun!
